Viking Johnson coupling UltraGrip DN200 218,1-256,0 mm NBR

Viking Johnson's UltraGrip Series is designed to provide a solution for joining non-dedicated pipes made of different materials. It features a gripping mechanism that provides maximum grip around the entire pipe circumference, resisting axial loading. As the internal pressure in the pipe increases, the gripping mechanism's ability to hold the end load increases. Additionally, the grippers are removable, allowing UltraGrip to be converted into a flexible, non-restraint product that allows for axial movement.

Application

Various pipe materials can be connected to both sides of the UltraGrip coupling, including cast iron, ductile iron, steel, PVC, PE, GRP and asbestos cement. The UltraGrip coupling is restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. The connection of this coupling is DN 200 and has a size range from minimum 218,1 mm to maximum 256 mm on both sides. The gasket of this coupling is made of NBR, making the coupling suitable for gas up to PN 5.

Product Features

The UltraGrip coupling is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. To prevent abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion, UltraGrip couplings are made of ductile iron with an rilsan nylon 11 coating. In addition, the specially profiled gasket ensures that even damaged and corroded pipes are completely sealed. A support liner for this coupling is recommended when used on a PE pipe. UltraGrip couplings have an angle of deflection of 8° (2x 4°) over the entire size range of the coupling.
