Product Features

The coupling is made of galvanized ductile iron and is corrosion resistant. Noise and vibration are reduced thanks to the NBR gasket. The coupling has a wide range from a minimum of 158,2 mm to a maximum of 162 mm and can withstand a working pressure up to 38,8 bar. Bends or minor alignment errors can be prevented because the coupling can withstand an angular deflection of up to 6° (2x 3°).

Installation

Installing the marine coupling is quick and easy as the captive, non-rotating bolt head has only one bolt size (M12) over the entire range with one bolt torque (55-65 Nm) for all pipe materials. In addition, this coupling has one locating plug. Thanks to this removable plug, the coupling can easily be slid over the pipe ends during installation. Once installed, it ensures that the coupling is securely connected to the pipe ends and cannot move due to vibrations.
