Product Features

The coupling is made of galvanized ductile iron. The coupling is not only corrosion resistant, but also has a NBR gasket that reduces noise and vibration. The coupling can withstand a working pressure up to 35,8 bar and has a wide range from a minimum of 218,3 mm to a maximum of 224,4 mm. Minor bends or misalignments can be easily compensated for due to the possible angular deflection up to 6° (2x 3°).

Installation

With its fixed, non-rotating bolt head and one bolt size (M12) over the entire range and one bolt tightening torque (55-65 Nm) for all pipe materials, the marine coupling is quick and easy to install. In addition, this coupling has one locating plug. Thanks to this removable plug, the coupling can easily be slid over the pipe ends during installation. Once installed, it ensures that the coupling is securely connected to the pipe ends and cannot move due to vibrations.
