Viking Johnson marine couplings are designed to withstand the toughest marine environments. Ships are exposed to waves and motion, so piping must be flexible enough to withstand these dynamics without sustaining damage. Viking Johnson non-restraint marine couplings are unmatched in flexibility, durability and ease of installation, making them a must-have in marine environments.
The marine coupling is made of galvanized ductile iron and is corrosion resistant. In addition, the NBR gasket protects against noise and vibration. The coupling has a wide range from a minimum of 272,2 mm to a maximum of 276,5 mm and can withstand a working pressure up to 33,48 bar. Furthermore, this coupling has a connection for cathodic protection. The coupling can withstand angular deflection up to 6° (2x 3°), eliminating bends or minor misalignments.
