Product Features

The marine coupling, made of galvanized ductile iron, is corrosion resistant. In addition, noise and vibration are reduced by the gasket of NBR. The coupling has a connection size of 406,4 mm and can withstand a working pressure up to 27,2 bar. Bends or minor alignment errors can be prevented because the coupling can withstand an angular deflection of up to 6° (2x 3°).

Installation

With its fixed, non-rotating bolt head and one bolt size (M12) over the entire range and one bolt tightening torque (55-65 Nm) for all pipe materials, the marine coupling is quick and easy to install. The coupling is also equipped with 2 removable fixation plugs that make it easy to slide the coupling over pipe ends during installation. Once installed, these plugs ensure that the coupling is firmly fixed between the pipe ends, preventing it from moving beyond its limits due to vibrations.
