Product Features

This marine coupling is made of galvanized ductile iron and is corrosion resistant. Thanks to the NBR gasket, noise and vibration are reduced. The coupling has a connection size of 457 mm and can withstand a working pressure up to 24,2 bar. Angular deflection up to 6° (2x 3°) is possible, which means that minor misalignments or bends are effortlessly compensated.

Installation

Installing the marine couplings is quick and easy thanks to the fixed, non-rotating bolt head with one bolt size (M12) over the entire range and one bolt tightening torque (55-65 Nm) for all pipe materials. In addition, this coupling has 3 fixation plugs. Because these plugs can be removed, the coupling can easily be slid over the pipe ends during installation. After installation, they ensure the coupling remains securely in place on the pipes and cannot move due to vibrations.
