Viking Johnson end cap UltraGrip DN125-1" axial

For connecting non-dedicated pipes of different materials, the UltraGrip series from Viking Johnson is an excellent solution. The gripping mechanism ensures maximum grip around the entire pipe circumference and is therefore resistant to axial loads. With increasing internal pressure, the gripping mechanism can hold more end loads. In addition, UltraGrip can be converted into a flexible, non-restraint product with axial movement by removing the grippers.

Application

The UltraGrip end cap can be connected to a wide range of pipe materials, including steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron and AC (AC restraint is not guaranteed), in accordance with EN 14525. The UltraGrip end cap is restraint and has a 1" internal thread, axial outlet. This end cap has a DN 125 wide range connection with a size range of at least 132,2 mm to a maximum of 160,2 mm. With a gasket of EPDM, this end cap is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.

Product Features

The UltraGrip end cap is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. The UltraGrip end cap is made of steel with a rilsan nylon 11 coating, making the coupling resistant to abrasion or damage from corrosion or chemicals. In addition, pipes can be completely sealed by the specially profiled gasket , even when they are affected by corrosion or damaged. An additional advantage is that the UltraGrip couplings do not require a support liner for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. A support liner is recommended when connecting PE pipes to the UltraGrip side. Furthermore, the UltraGrip end cap allows angular deflection up to 4° over the entire size range of the end cap.
