Viking Johnson end cap UltraGrip DN150-1" axial

Viking Johnson offers a solution for connecting non-dedicated pipes of various materials with the UltraGrip series. The gripping mechanism provides maximum grip around the entire pipe circumference and resistance for axial loads. As the internal pressure in the pipe increases, the gripping mechanism can hold more end loads. In addition, UltraGrip can be converted to a flexible, non-restraint product that allows axial movement by removing the grippers.

Application

In accordance with EN 14525, UltraGrip endcaps can be connected to various pipe materials including steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron and AC (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). The UltraGrip end cap is restraint and has a 1" internal thread, axial outlet. This end cap has a DN 150 wide range connection with a size range of at least 158,2 mm to a maximum of 192,2 mm. This end cap is equipped with a gasket of EPDM making it suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.

Product Features

The UltraGrip end cap is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. This end cap is made of steel with a rilsan nylon 11 coating, making the UltraGrip coupling highly resistant to abrasion and damage from chemicals or corrosion. Even pipes that are damaged or corroded are completely sealed by the specially profiled gasket of the coupling. An additional advantage is that the UltraGrip couplings do not require a support liner for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. A support liner is recommended when connecting PE pipes to the UltraGrip side. Over the entire size range of the end cap, the UltraGrip is capable of accommodating angular deflection up to 4°.
