Viking Johnson end cap UltraGrip DN300-2" axial

Viking Johnson's UltraGrip Series is designed to join non-dedicated pipes of various materials. The gripping mechanism provides maximum grip around the pipe circumference, thereby resisting axial loads. As the internal pressure in the pipe increases, the gripping mechanism can also hold more end load. Because the grippers are removable, UltraGrip can also be converted to a flexible, non-restraint product that allows for axial movement.

Application

In accordance with EN 14525, UltraGrip endcaps are compatible with various pipe materials including steel, PE, PVC, cast iron and AC (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). The UltraGrip end cap is restraint and has a 2" internal thread, axial outlet. This end cap has a DN 300 wide range connection with a size range of at least 315 mm to a maximum of 356 mm. In addition, this end cap is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16 due to the gasket of EPDM.

Product Features

The UltraGrip end cap is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. The UltraGrip end cap is made of steel with a rilsan nylon 11 coating. This provides the coupling with long-term resistance to abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion. Due to the specially profiled gasket of the coupling, even pipes that are damaged or affected by corrosion can be completely sealed. An additional advantage is that the UltraGrip couplings do not require a support liner for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. It is recommended to use a support liner when connecting a PE pipe to the UltraGrip side. Over the entire size range of the end cap, the UltraGrip is capable of accommodating angular deflection up to 4°.
