The MaxiFit range from Viking Johnson has a wide size range and can connect to a variety of pipe materials. This makes the MaxiDaptor, part of the MaxiFit range, ideal for pipes that need to be replaced. Because of the wide size range, only a few couplings must be in stock, and repairs or emergencies can be easily handled. Furthermore, MaxiFit products are very flexible, allowing it to accommodate angular deflection up to 6° when subsidence or alignment errors occur. This makes the coupling a reliable product for the long term.
The Maxi flange adapter can be connected to various pipe materials, such as steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron, and AC, in accordance with EN 14525 (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10/16. This flange adapter has a DN 80 flange on one side and has a non-restraint, wide range connection of DN 80 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 85 mm to maximum 107 mm. With a gasket of NBR, the flange adapter is suitable for gas up to PN 6.
This flange adapter is made of ductile iron with a rilsan nylon 11 coating, which makes the MaxiDaptor flange adapter highly resistant to abrasion and damage from chemicals or corrosion. For the Maxi side, a support liner is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, the MaxiDaptor coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to 3° over the entire size range.
