The MaxiDaptor is part of Viking Johnson's MaxiFit range and is ideal for joining different types of pipe materials and has a wide size range, making it perfect for repairs where a section of pipe needs to be replaced. The wide size range means that only a few sizes need to be kept in stock to cover repair or emergency situations. In addition, MaxiDaptor is highly flexible, allowing it to accommodate angular deflection up to 6°. This flexibility makes the flange adapter resistant to ground settlement or misalignment, ensuring a reliable and long-lasting connection.
In accordance with EN 14525, Maxi flange adapters can be used with a variety of pipe materials including steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron and AC (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10/16. This flange adapter has a DN 125 flange on one side and has a non-restraint, wide range connection of DN 125 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 132 mm to maximum 158 mm. The gasket of this flange adapter is made of EPDM, making the coupling suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.
To prevent abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion, MaxiDaptor flange adapters are made of ductile iron with a rilsan nylon 11 coating. For the Maxi side, a support liner is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, the MaxiDaptor coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to a maximum of 3° over the entire size range of the flange adapter.
