The MaxiFit range from Viking Johnson has a wide size range and can connect to a variety of pipe materials. This makes the MaxiDaptor, part of the MaxiFit range, ideal for pipes that need to be replaced. Because of the wide size range, only a few couplings must be in stock, and repairs or emergencies can be easily handled. Furthermore, MaxiFit products are very flexible, allowing it to accommodate angular deflection up to 6° when subsidence or alignment errors occur. This makes the coupling a reliable product for the long term.
The Maxi flange adaptor can be used on a wide range of pipe materials, including steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron and AC (AC restraint is not guaranteed), in accordance with EN 14525. The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10/16. This flange adapter has a DN 125 flange on one side and has a non-restraint, wide range connection of DN 125 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 132,2 mm to maximum 158 mm. This flange adapter is equipped with a gasket of NBR making it suitable for gas up to PN 6.
The MaxiDaptor flange adapter is manufactured from ductile iron with a rilsan nylon 11 coating. This makes the flange adapter resistant to long-term abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion. For the Maxi side, a support liner is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, the MaxiDaptor coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to a maximum of 3° over the entire size range of the flange adapter.
