The MaxiDaptor is part of Viking Johnson's MaxiFit range and is ideal for joining different types of pipe materials and has a wide size range, making it perfect for repairs where a section of pipe needs to be replaced. The wide size range means that only a few sizes need to be kept in stock to cover repair or emergency situations. In addition, MaxiDaptor is highly flexible, allowing it to accommodate angular deflection up to 6°. This flexibility makes the flange adapter resistant to ground settlement or misalignment, ensuring a reliable and long-lasting connection.
The Maxi flange adapter can be connected to various pipe materials, such as steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron, and AC, in accordance with EN 14525 (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10/16. This flange adapter has a DN 250 flange on one side and has a non-restraint, wide range connection of DN 250 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 266 mm to maximum 295 mm. The gasket of this flange adapter is made of EPDM, making the coupling suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.
This flange adapter is made of ductile iron with a rilsan nylon 11 coating, which makes the MaxiDaptor flange adapter highly resistant to abrasion and damage from chemicals or corrosion. For the Maxi side, a support liner is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, within the entire size range of the MaxiDaptor coupling, an angular deflection of up to 3° is possible.
