Viking Johnson flange adapter UltraGrip DN050 043,5-063,5 mm

For connecting non-dedicated pipes of different materials, the UltraGrip series from Viking Johnson is an excellent solution. The gripping mechanism ensures maximum grip around the entire pipe circumference and is therefore resistant to axial loads. With increasing internal pressure, the gripping mechanism can hold more end loads. In addition, UltraGrip can be converted into a flexible, non-restraint product with axial movement by removing the grippers.

Application

In accordance with EN 14525, UltraGrip flange adapters are compatible with a variety of pipe materials including steel, PE, PVC, cast iron and AC (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10/16. This flange adapter has a DN 50 flange on one side and has a restraint, wide range connection of DN 50 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 43,5 mm to maximum 63,5 mm. In addition, this flange adapter is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16 due to the gasket of EPDM.

Product Features

The UltraGrip flange adapter is manufactured from ductile iron with a rilsan nylon 11 coating. This makes the flange adapter resistant to long-term abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion. In addition, pipes can be completely sealed by the specially profiled gasket, even when they are damaged or affected by corrosion. For the UltraGrip side, a support liner is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, the UltraGrip coupling is capable of absorbing an angular deflection of up to 4° over the entire size range.
