Viking Johnson flange adapter UltraGrip DN100 107,2-133,2 mm

For connecting non-dedicated pipes of different materials, the UltraGrip series from Viking Johnson is an excellent solution. The gripping mechanism ensures maximum grip around the entire pipe circumference and is therefore resistant to axial loads. With increasing internal pressure, the gripping mechanism can hold more end loads. In addition, UltraGrip can be converted into a flexible, non-restraint product with axial movement by removing the grippers.

Application

In accordance with EN 14525, UltraGrip flange adapters can be used with a variety of pipe materials including steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron and AC (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10/16. This flange adapter has a DN 100 flange on one side and has a restraint, wide range connection of DN 100 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 107,2 mm to maximum 133,2 mm. In addition, this flange adapter is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16 due to the gasket of EPDM.

Thanks to the ductile iron housing with a rilsan nylon 11 coating, the UltraGrip flange adapter offers long-term resistance to abrasion or damage caused by corrosion or chemicals. In addition, the specially profiled gasket ensures that even damaged and corroded pipes are completely sealed. For the UltraGrip side, a support liner is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, it is possible to absorb an angular deflection of up to 4° over the entire size range of the entire UltraGrip couplings.
