Viking Johnson flange adapter UltraGrip DN125 132,2-160,2 mm

Viking Johnson's UltraGrip Series is designed to join non-dedicated pipes of various materials. The gripping mechanism provides maximum grip around the pipe circumference, thereby resisting axial loads. As the internal pressure in the pipe increases, the gripping mechanism can also hold more end load. Because the grippers are removable, UltraGrip can also be converted to a flexible, non-restraint product that allows for axial movement.

Application

In accordance with EN 14525, UltraGrip flange adapters are compatible with a variety of pipe materials including steel, PE, PVC, cast iron and AC (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10/16. This flange adapter has a DN 125 flange on one side and has a restraint, wide range connection of DN 125 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 132,2 mm to maximum 160,2 mm. This flange adapter is equipped with a gasket of EPDM making it suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.

Product Features

To prevent abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion, UltraGrip flange adapters are made of ductile iron with a rilsan nylon 11 coating. Even pipes that are damaged or corroded are completely sealed by the specially profiled gasket of the coupling. For the UltraGrip side, a support liner is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, it is possible to absorb an angular deflection of up to 4° over the entire size range of the entire UltraGrip couplings.
