Viking Johnson's UltraGrip Series provides a solution for joining non-dedicated pipes made of various materials. The gripping mechanism provides maximum grip around the entire circumference of the pipe, allowing it to withstand axial loads. As internal pressure increases, the gripping mechanism's ability to hold end loads increases. In addition, UltraGrip's grippers are removable, allowing for axial movement.

Application

The UltraGrip flange adapter can be connected to various pipe materials, such as steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron, and AC, in accordance with EN 14525 (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10/16. This flange adapter has a DN 150 flange on one side and has a restraint, wide range connection of DN 150 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 158,2 mm to maximum 192,2 mm. The gasket of this flange adapter is made of EPDM, making the coupling suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.

Product Features

The UltraGrip flange adapter is manufactured from ductile iron with a rilsan nylon 11 coating. This makes the flange adapter resistant to long-term abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion. In addition, even damaged and corroded pipes can be completely sealed by the specially profiled gasket. For the UltraGrip side, a support liner is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, within the entire size range of the UltraGrip coupling, an angular deflection of up to 4° is possible.
