Viking Johnson flange adapter UltraGrip DN150 158,2-192,2 mm NBR

For connecting non-dedicated pipes of different materials, the UltraGrip series from Viking Johnson is an excellent solution. The gripping mechanism ensures maximum grip around the entire pipe circumference and is therefore resistant to axial loads. With increasing internal pressure, the gripping mechanism can hold more end loads. In addition, UltraGrip can be converted into a flexible, non-restraint product with axial movement by removing the grippers.

Application

The UltraGrip flange adaptor can be used on a wide range of pipe materials, including steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron and AC (AC restraint is not guaranteed), in accordance with EN 14525. The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10/16. This flange adapter has a DN 150 flange on one side and has a restraint, wide range connection of DN 150 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 158,2 mm to maximum 192,2 mm. The gasket of this flange adapter is made of NBR, making the coupling suitable for gas up to PN 5.

Product Features

This flange adapter is made of ductile iron with a rilsan nylon 11 coating, which makes the UltraGrip flange adapter highly resistant to abrasion and damage from chemicals or corrosion. Due to the specially profiled gasket of the coupling, even pipes that are damaged or affected by corrosion can be completely sealed. For the UltraGrip side, a support liner is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, it is possible to absorb an angular deflection of up to 4° over the entire size range of the entire UltraGrip couplings.
