Viking Johnson flange adapter UltraGrip DN150 158,2-192,2 mm

Viking Johnson's UltraGrip Series is designed to provide a solution for joining non-dedicated pipes made of different materials. It features a gripping mechanism that provides maximum grip around the entire pipe circumference, resisting axial loading. As the internal pressure in the pipe increases, the gripping mechanism's ability to hold the end load increases. Additionally, the grippers are removable, allowing UltraGrip to be converted into a flexible, non-restraint product that allows for axial movement.

Application

The UltraGrip flange adaptor can be used on a wide range of pipe materials, including steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron and AC (AC restraint is not guaranteed), in accordance with EN 14525. The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10/16. This flange adapter has a DN 150 flange on one side and has a restraint, wide range connection of DN 150 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 158,2 mm to maximum 192,2 mm. In addition, this flange adapter has EPDM sealing material and is therefore suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.

Product Features

To prevent abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion, UltraGrip flange adapters are made of ductile iron with a rilsan nylon 11 coating. Due to the specially profiled gasket of the coupling, even pipes that are damaged or affected by corrosion can be completely sealed. For the UltraGrip side, a support liner is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, the UltraGrip coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to 4° over the entire size range.
