Viking Johnson's UltraGrip Series provides a solution for joining non-dedicated pipes made of various materials. The gripping mechanism provides maximum grip around the entire circumference of the pipe, allowing it to withstand axial loads. As internal pressure increases, the gripping mechanism's ability to hold end loads increases. In addition, UltraGrip's grippers are removable, allowing for axial movement.

Application

The UltraGrip coupling allows you to connect the coupling to various pipes, including cast iron, ductile iron, steel, PVC, PE, GRP, asbestos cement. With an EPDM gasket on both sides, the coupling reducer coupling is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16. This UltraGrip reducing coupling is a restraint coupling, which is designed to connect pipes with different outer diameters. One connection of the coupling is DN 100 and has a size range from a minimum of 107 mm to a maximum of 133,2 mm. The other connection is DN 150 and has a size range from a minimum of 158,2 mm to a maximum of 192,2 mm.

The UltraGrip reducing coupling is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. Thanks to the cast iron housing with an rilsan nylon 11 coating, the UltraGrip reducing coupling offers long-term resistance to abrasion or damage caused by corrosion or chemicals. In addition, even damaged and corroded pipes can be completely sealed by the specially profiled gasket. A support liner for this coupling is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, the UltraGrip coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to a maximum of 8° (2x 4°) over the entire size range of the reducing coupling.
