Viking Johnson's UltraGrip Series provides a solution for joining non-dedicated pipes made of various materials. The gripping mechanism provides maximum grip around the entire circumference of the pipe, allowing it to withstand axial loads. As internal pressure increases, the gripping mechanism's ability to hold end loads increases. In addition, UltraGrip's grippers are removable, allowing for axial movement.

Application

The UltraGrip coupling allows you to connect the coupling to various pipes, including cast iron, ductile iron, steel, PVC, PE, GRP, asbestos cement. In addition, this coupling has an EPDM gasket on both sides and is therefore suitable for drinking water up to PN 16. This UltraGrip reducing coupling is a restraint coupling, which is designed to connect pipes with different outer diameters. One connection of the coupling is DN 200 and has a size range from a minimum of 266 mm to a maximum of 310 mm. The other connection is DN 300 and has a size range from a minimum of 315 mm to a maximum of 356 mm.

Product Features

The UltraGrip reducing coupling is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. To prevent abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion, UltraGrip reducing couplings are made of cast iron with a rilsan nylon 11 coating. In addition, pipes can be completely sealed by the specially profiled gasket, even when they are damaged or affected by corrosion. A support liner for this coupling is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, the UltraGrip reducing coupling is capable of withstanding an angular deflection of up to 8° (2x 4°) over the entire size range.
