Sundström SR 540 EX - face shield - explosion-proof

The SR 540 EX face shield, together with the SR 500 EX fan, is approved for use in explosive atmospheres. The face shield's breathing tube is connected to the fan, which is equipped with filters. The pressure created in the face shield prevents particles and other impurities from entering. The SR 540 EX face shield can also be used in combination with the SR 507 compressed air connection, but in this case only in environments that are not potentially explosive. This combination forms a breathing apparatus designed for a continuous air flow that can be connected to a compressed air supply. See separate product leaflet SR 507. The equipment can be used as an alternative to filter protections in all situations where the latter are recommended. This applies especially in situations where the work is intensive, hot, or prolonged.
