Reliable PAPR fan unit adapted for use in environments with an explosion hazard. Unlike many other PAPR systems, the SR 500 EX is intrinsically explosion-proof. You can use the fan unit without first having to wrap it in an explosion-proof cover.
The SR 500 EX can be fitted with P3 filters together with filters for gases and vapours. It offers the most reliable and comfortable respiratory protection in an environment with fine dust, mist, gases and/or vapours. With the supplied battery, this system has a working time of up to 6 hours.
The fan unit is easy to operate with one button. The system is equipped with safety and alarms. If the air supply is insufficient, the user will be warned by an acoustic signal. The user's surroundings are warned by an alarm light on the back of the fan unit.
Can be used in combination with hoods SR 520, SR 530, SR 561, SR 562, SR 601, SR 602 face shield SR 540 EX, SR 570, helmet with visor SR 580 or full face mask SR 200. Comes with 2.1 Ah battery, battery charger, pre-filter holder and carrying strap.
