The SR 575, together with the SR 500, SR 500 EX, or SR 700 fan unit and approved filters, is included in Sundström's fan-assisted respiratory protection systems. The breathing hose must be connected to the fan, which is equipped with filters. The pressure created in the visor prevents particles and other contaminants from entering the breathing zone. The equipment can be used as an alternative to filter masks in all situations where filter masks are required. This is particularly recommended for heavy, hot, or prolonged work.
