The SR 586 Tyvek® hood is designed for use in combination with a Sundström SR 520 hood, SR 530 hood, SR 540 face shield, or SR 580 helmet with visor, in combination with a fan or the SR 507 compressed air attachment.
It protects against dust and particles and against small amounts of splashes and droplets. The SR 586 is made of Tyvek® and can be used in all situations where the SR 520, SR 530, SR 540, or SR 580 can be used. However, it does not provide protection against toxic, corrosive, or irritating vapors or aerosols.
The hood is intended for short-term use and is not suitable for cleaning.
